First Trees Arrive for 16th Street Mall Revitalization Project The 16th Street Mall renovation project reached a significant milestone this week with the arrival of oak trees that are being planted between Market and Larimer streets. The installation marks the beginning of a comprehensive initiative to replace, diversify and expand the urban tree canopy along the iconic street.
East Denver to Receive More Stormwater System Upgrades The City and County of Denver is continuing its work to improve stormwater management systems on Denver’s east side where much of the existing stormwater infrastructure dates to the 1930‘s and is undersized to meet drainage needs. A new phase of this work starts Monday to help mitigate persistent flooding issues during storm events.
