Global Landing Pad

The Denver Global Landing Pad is a business acceleration program providing an introductory tool kit to doing business in Denver. We aim to create ideal conditions for foreign companies to validate their fit in the US market and explore opportunities in Denver.

The program offers:

  • Collective workshops with experts on the legal requirements for the creation of a company in Denver, how to hire talent, and to open a bank account
  • Access to resident experts within the Denver entrepreneurial ecosystem
  • A group experience during Denver Startup Week
  • Dedicated support from Denver Economic Development & Opportunity

Landing Pad | Europe Region: May 17-19, 2023

Denver invites executives of scaling companies from European countries to join our 2023 Global Landing Pad (GLP) program to support their expansion plans into North America via Denver, Colorado. This business acceleration program provides the know-how, introductions, and networking needed for a soft landing in our city.

Dates for our spring 2023 cohort are May 17-19 and it will be in-person in Denver. The program will be two full days May 17 and 18 with the final day being hosted by World Trade Center Denver for the 50th annual World Trade Day celebration and conference. Delegates will be featured as panelists during World Trade Day and network with the global business community

What to Expect

  • Sessions take place in-person in Denver. They cover topics on licensing and registration, employee management, taxes, accounting, legal, and much more
  • Build long-term relationships with cohort of similar business CEO/founders
  • Develop in-country network of partners, clients, vendors and service providers
  • Identify potential funders for future financing needs
  • The program has been strategically designed to align with the 50th Annual World Trade Day celebration, an event that facilitates meaningful business connections
  • A US $500 registration fee (payable upon acceptance)

  • Applications open October 17, 2022
  • Deadline to apply is February 28, 2023 at 5 p.m. (MST) 
  • Applications must be submitted through our online portal
