Denver Workforce Integration Network

The Denver Workforce Integration Network (DWIN) is a roundtable of providers and resources throughout Denver, all of whom share a stake in serving our employers and jobseekers.

The federal Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA), under which Denver receives annual funding, establishes goals for the integration of workforce development services and requires that each county workforce office work in partnership with WIOA-mandated partners in the delivery of workforce services. Our DWIN meets monthly, facilitated by our leading contractor, Eckerd Connects.

A strong network like DWIN ensures that best practices are being shared, critical information-sharing takes place, and all of what Denver has to offer for its employers and jobseekers is operating in an aligned, cooperative manner. It is especially important that we work together serve those jobseekers who are experiencing barriers to success -- including people transitioning from the justice system, people experiencing homelessness, people with disabilities, veterans, jobseekers over age 50, people with a language barrier, people needing extra help with remedial skills, people who seek support accessing and using technology, and our immigrant/refugee population.
