Technology Employment in Colorado Partnership (TECP)

TECP helps jobseekers launch careers in aerospace and cybersecurity by offering:

Jobseekers must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Unemployed and underemployed individuals with a passion and aptitude for a career in the identified industries.
• Ages 17 and older with a high school diploma or equivalent not currently enrolled in a school system.
• Participants interested in cybersecurity must be unemployed or underemployed and who have at least one year of work experience or at least one recognized credential.
  • This requirement applies only to cybersecurity and does not apply to participants interested in aerospace or advanced manufacturing.

   1. If you meet the eligibility requirements, visit Connecting Colorado, create an account, and complete the initial assessment form. Start Here.
2. Contact Us
   1. Upon creating your Connecting Colorado account, email TECP@denvergov.org to indicate the career pathway you intend to pursue. Please attach a résumé and a brief overview of your prior experience to facilitate an eligibility review. A case manager will subsequently reach out to provide ongoing support.

What is TECP?

Who is eligible to participate in TECP?
TECP primarily serves individuals who are unemployed or underemployed and have at least 1 year of work experience or hold recognized credentials in IT or advanced manufacturing. Eligibility may vary slightly by region or partner agency.

Is there a cost to participate in TECP?
TECP-funded training and support services are typically provided at no cost to eligible participants, thanks to federal funding. Some partners may require a cost-share depending on the program structure.
