Youth Workforce Development

The Denver Youth Employment Program (DYEP) connects young people with workforce development, career exploration, and opportunities to pursue their passions and goals through real-world work experiences with local organizations, businesses, and growing industries.

With support from Denver Workforce staff and a network of local partners, we’re proud to help Denver's youth take their next step — not just into a job, but toward a meaningful career path. As the city’s partner, Denver Public Schools (DPS) delivers DYEP by offering pre-employment training sessions and paid work experiences.

Empowering Colorado’s Youth for Success

The Governor’s Summer Job Hunt is a free referral service connecting young adults with employment and career exploration opportunities across the state.

Eligibility

• Ages: 14–24
• No income requirements
• Must provide: Proof of age and U.S. citizenship

How to Get Started

Interested youth can visit any Workforce Center across Colorado to register and begin exploring job opportunities. Check out Denver Workforce Development Centers here.
