Overview

The Priority Neighborhood Small Business Fund (PNSBF) is a grant program dedicated to provide financial support to micro and small businesses located only within Denver's NEST neighborhoods. Denver Economic Development & Opportunity's (DEDO) division of Neighborhood Equity & Stabilization (NEST) has identified 10 neighborhoods experiencing rapid socio-economic changes and being at risk of involuntary displacement. They are:

  • East Colfax
  • Globeville
  • Elyria-Swansea
  • Montbello
  • Northeast Park Hill
  • Sun Valley
  • Valverde
  • Villa Park
  • West Colfax
  • Westwood

This program is delivered in partnership with Mile High United Way, a trusted Denver nonprofit organization that is also a partner for the city's Small Business Emergency Relief Fund.

The grants aim to provide rapid and direct support to the smallest and most vulnerable businesses that have been hit the hardes by the COVID-19 pandemic, and that historically have not had access to traditional sources of business support.
