The Denver Fire Department strives to provide the most current and up-to-date information about numerous fire safety conditions. In providing this information, we hope to bring a safe environment whether it is at your home of residence, place of work or at any indoor/outdoor event.  

Child Safety Seat Information

Child smiling in a car seatColorado law requires that all child passengers must be properly buckled up and restrained while riding in a moving vehicle. Car seats or booster seats are required for younger/smaller children.
