Aging & Protection The division advocates for Denver’s older population by helping local agencies develop policies and programs that will improve the quality of life and accessibility to care and culture for aging residents.
Disability Rights This division ensures that all city services and programs are accessible to people with disabilities in compliance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Financial Empowerment Through the integration of financial empowerment policies, programs and practices, this division strives to help Denver residents and small businesses achieve economic mobility, financial equity and inclusion, and generational wealth.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services division provides Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing people sign language interpreting services, open captioning via Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) and Assistive Listening Devices for sound amplification for City and County of Denver programs, services and events.
Immigrant & Refugee Affairs The division promotes greater awareness and integration of immigrant and refugee residents in Denver through partnerships with a variety of entities, including nonprofits and community-based organizations.
