DAAPIC Presents the 2024 AAPI Culture Fest

Reclaiming and Celebrating AAPI Identity Through Art, Culture, and Community

DENVER – In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, celebrated from May 1st to May 31st  each year, the Denver Human Rights & Community PartnershipsAsian American Pacific Islander Commission (DAAPIC) is proud to present the 2024 AAPI Culture Fest, bringing together the diverse cultural heritage and creativity of some of Colorado’s AAPI community.

The 2024 AAPI Culture Fest aims to foster connection and dialogue while honoring the stories, struggles, and triumphs of the AAPI community. This FREE one-day event will be held on May 11th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Denver McNichols Civic Center Building at 144 W Colfax Ave. Denver, CO. 80202. Art exhibits where artists explore themes of identity, belonging, and cultural pride through textiles, sculptures, crafts, and more, a vibrant cultural marketplace with a mosaic of traditions from Vietnamese, Hmong, Filipino, Korean, Mongolian, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Pacific Islander cultures, and several AAPI businesses and nonprofit organizations will connect visitors with the diverse culture and rich history of our AAPI community.
