Denver is extending cold weather shelter from Thursday, Feb. 13 and will remain open as long as weather conditions are met.
Mayor Johnston and the City and County of Denver remain committed to get people off the streets and into hotels, micro-communities and leased apartment units. We are focusing on the most vulnerable populations across the city, knowing that the safety risks are highest for those currently living unsheltered in encampments, especially with winter approaching. Your support can help us reach that mission. The City and County of Denver thanks the residents, businesses and neighborhoods for their patience and support as we continue to bring more housing units online and close encampments.
