The Policy Council provides a system of shared governance through which parents have an active voice in policy making and program decisions. The Policy Council is responsible for the following areas, which impact the children and families of the Denver Great Kids Head Start program:
Policy Council for the Denver Great Kids Head Start program conducts meetings the fourth Wednesday of every month. At times, during the holidays, meetings may be rescheduled or omitted from the schedule. Council members will be informed, via email, of any schedule modifications. MEETING PACKETS are posted two days before each meeting. Packets from the most recent 2 years, and the current year, will remain available online. If interested in packets not currently listed, just send an email with your request.
