On Nov 24, Mayor Michael B. Hancock flipped Denver’s giant light switch to commence the holiday lighting of the City and County Building. View a video of the brief program and the first light and music show of the 2021 season.

The light and music show lasts about 8 minutes and will occur nightly at 5:45 pm and 6:45 pm through Jan 23. Between the nightly shows and until 10:45 pm each night, the City and County Building will exhibit a static light display. There will not be any light shows, only a static light display on Mondays because of City Council meetings.
