Payments to the Public Trustee must be made payable to Denver Public Trustee. Credit card payments are not accepted.
The Office of the Clerk and Recorder does not supply most legal forms. Deed release forms can be found on the Public Trustee Fees and Forms page. Many standard business forms are available at the Denver Public Library and some office supply stores (Office Max/Office Depot has many for sale).
To access the library's free legal forms, you will need to apply for a free Denver Public Library card online.
Neither the Clerk's staff nor the library's staff can offer legal advice, such as which form is correct for your needs. We suggest you seek the advice of an attorney for questions regarding any legal document.
Foreclosure fees and charges are outlined in the Colorado Revised Statutes. .
