The Denver Dream Care Center
The Denver Dream Center's mission is to rescue people, rebuild lives, and restore dreams. Our vision is to bring hope to the hopeless. The youth programming targets youth 10–18 who may be at risk or may be involved in youth violence. The approach is to build skills, foster healthy relationships, and provide new experiences in a safe space. Fun, engaging, and pro-social activities are provided on Wednesday nights at the Dream Center as well as at Night Moves events every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at College View and Aztlan Rec Centers. Activities such as basketball, music, the arts, cooking, etc. are provided to engage youth and keep them coming back. The goal is that youth develop rapport with caring adults who are available to support them through their challenges and connect them with resources when appropriate.
