Active Older Adults

Active Older Adults (AOA) programs inspire adults 50+ to stay moving, social, and engaged. From fitness and wellness classes to outdoor adventures, arts, clubs, and social luncheons, AOA offers fun, flexible ways to support healthy, active aging.

Adaptive Recreation

DPR offers therapeutic programs for people with disabilities at any age. Through numerous leisure activities, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists and other DPR team members create opportunities to improve quality of life, foster independence and boost self-esteem.

Alternative Sports

Try something new this spring! From biking and climbing to disc golf, roller skating, skateboarding, and more, our Alternative Sports programs offer exciting ways to stay active. With classes and activities for ages 5 to 65+, there’s an adventure for every skill level. Build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun along the way.

Aquatics

A variety of aquatics programming is available from swim lessons, to aqua fitness, to lifeguard certification, and more.

Arts and Culture

Arts and culture programming is offered for a variety of ages and skill levels. Explore painting, drawing, paper arts, pottery, ceramics, crafts, jewelry, needle arts, sewing, dance, music, and special events. Our talented instructors bring diverse artistic skills and inspiring experiences to recreation centers citywide.

Fitness

DPR serves all fitness levels through a variety of services led by experienced fitness professionals. Numerous group fitness classes are offered citywide, as well as specialized programs such as Boot Camps and Personal Training services.

Outdoor Recreation

Join DPR for a variety of outdoor adventures this spring! This season's specialty programs include orienteering for all ages, beginner archery for adults, spring break camps for youth, hiking and snowshoeing trips for families, and much more.

MY Denver

Through the MY Denver Card program, free drop-in and registered activities are available to you ages 5-18. This season's activities include a variety of art and science programs, along with sports, spring break camps, and other out-of-school offerings.

Citywide Sports

Get in the game with Citywide Sports adult leagues for all skill levels. This season features pickleball, softball, kickball, tennis, and more. Whether you're forming a team or signing up solo, enjoy organized play, friendly competition, and a great way to stay active and connected across Denver.

Youth Sports

From tots to teens, there is something for all ages and skill levels this spring. This season, our Youth Sports team is offering pickleball and tennis, track and field, volleyball, flag football, soccer, and a variety of other camps and clinics. Join the fun and try something new!
