Temporary Vending Permits

A Temporary Vending Permit provides licensed food and beverage vendors the opportunity to sell human food and non-alcoholic beverages at designated sites approved by the City and County of Denver.

Non-permitted vendors are prohibited in or within 300 feet of a Denver park or parkway unless they are part of a permitted event* and approved by that event’s permit holder.

This permit type is for stationary vendors (tent/table), bike carts, push carts, and some trailers

Food trucks are not allowed under this permit due to logistical challenges.

*Vendors participating in a permitted Assembly, Public Event, Special Occasion, or Tournament do not need to apply for a Temporary Vending Permit.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If a permitted event is taking place at your vending location, you may not vend during that time unless the event organizer has invited you in advance (before their permit start date).
