Capitol Hill Parks Projects

Reimagine Cap Hill Parks Project Illustration with colors

This project will envision future improvements for the parks in the Capitol Hill neighborhood: Quality Hill Park and Governors' Park. Community input is the key driver to the success of the project! Throughout the process, pop-up events will be hosted to gather feedback and create ways for neighbors to connect with each other. For questions about the project, email Elaine Limmer at Elaine.Limmer@denvergov.org.

The Parks Today: Analysis Takeaways

  • How steep is the slope at Governors’ Park? What are the types of trees that exist at Quality Hill Park? How does water drain in the parks? All these questions and more were investigated for the project team to fully understand the physical conditions of the Cap Hill parks as they exist today, so that the knowledge can serve as a foundation for future designs.
