Congress Park Pool was selected to be a project on the Elevate Denver Bond list, which was approved by voters in 2017. This pool was one of the city's oldest and had grown increasingly costly to maintain, requiring extensive upgrades.

About the Project
This project will build on community input to redesign and expand the existing playground to meet play, safety and accessibility needs. The project will complement the improvements made at the adjacent pool and also address the need for improved sidewalk connections throughout the park.

April 1, 2022: All Congress Park courts will be TEMPORARILY CLOSED for core drilling this Friday, April 1, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Once work is complete, the courts will reopen for use. This is in preparation for construction activities slated for later this year. We appreciate your cooperation.
Tennis and pickleball court improvements include surfacing of courts, relocation of pickleball courts inward to the park to reduce noise impacts on adjacent residences, and accessibility improvements. The project is funded by 2022 Capital Funds. Construction is anticipated to begin late 2022.

The Congress Park pickleball and tennis courts improvement project is underway! Improvements are slated to include reconstructing and resurfacing existing courts, expanding and relocating the pickleball courts internal to the park to mitigate sound impacts to adjacent residential properties and park and court accessibility improvements.
This meeting updated the community on the replacement and rearrangement of the existing tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts at Congress Park. The project will also address outstanding ADA access issues.
