Project Scope

Denver Parks and Recreation (DPR) is planning repairs to existing downtown skatepark features which are expected to be implemented in 2023. DPR intends to launch a planning project looking at longer-term improvements to the skatepark in the future, with additional opportunities for input.

Public Art

Art is coming to Denver Skatepark! A call for Artists closed on April 2, 2023, and an artist will be selected in the next several weeks to create a new work of public art that celebrates the Denver skate scene. The mural is expected to be installed this summer, please check back for updates. 

2022 Community Survey

What is most in need of repair at the Denver Skatepark? A community survey was conducted in November/December of 2022 to hear from skaters on their priorities for repairs, ideas for the future, and what makes this skatepark unique. A summary of what was shared can be seen at the link below.
