Cheesman Park Playground, Picnic Area & Walk Improvements

playground and park bench at Cheesman Park

Located in the heart of Capitol Hill, Cheesman Park spans 80 acres and is interconnected by trails and civic spaces. It is considered one of Denver's historical and regional parks and is located in one of the city's most densely populated neighborhoods. Improvements to highlight Cheesman Park's impressive tree canopy and landscape include a renovated playground and new picnic site. During design, Denver Parks and Recreation will also improve the pedestrian walking path between the Pavilion and Denver Botanic Gardens.
