September 2024 Update: The current orange fencing around the walkways at 8th and Josephine St. is part of a resiliency effort to add native grasses throughout the city. These perimeter native areas are a work in progress, as new plantings will be added through this fall. We expect several species to germinate spring 2025 and continue to mature. This effort aligns with Denver Parks and Recreation's goals for sustainability and It’s in Denver’s Nature campaign.
