Rosamond Park Improvements

Rosamond Park is a 35-acre community park located in the Hampden South neighborhood, off East Quincy Ave and South Tamarac Drive. It was identified as an Elevate Denver and RISE Bond project to include replacement of the existing playground and basketball court (Elevate Denver Bond, completed spring 2024) and replacement of the tennis courts and lighting (Rise Bond, completed summer 2025). Additional improvements include the conversion of approximately 30,000 square feet of bluegrass turf into low-water native landscape along Goldsmith Gulch.

Ribbon Cutting | April 25, 2024

Denver Parks & Recreation and Councilwoman Diana Romero Campbell joined the community for a celebration of the new playground. Thanks to voter-approved Park Legacy Funds and Elevate Denver Bond!
