NOTICE: Kid Watch Closing January 1, 2026

Effective January 1, 2026, Denver Parks and Recreation (DPR) will no longer offer Kid Watch at Central Park and Carla Madison Recreation Centers.

All current Kid Watch memberships will remain active through 2025, and we will strive to maintain normal operations for the remainder of the year. Kid Watch memberships will no longer be sold as of October 1, 2025, however single visit passes will be available for purchase throughout the end of 2025. Any unused visit passes will be refunded back to the original method of payment beginning in January 2026.

We appreciate the trust that you have placed in our team to watch over your children. While we are no longer able to offer this service that patrons have come to value, we remain committed to providing a community space and programming that supports the health of our residents.

We are incredibly grateful for the relationships we’ve built and the milestones we’ve shared.  Thank you for your understanding as DPR navigates these operational changes.
