Hiawatha Davis Jr. is a Local Level recreation center in east Denver. This facility features a game room and meeting rooms with kitchen access that are available to rent. The center offers a free meal program for youth, along with free membership for youth and adults age 60+ through the MY Denver Card and My Denver Prime programs. CLOSED | March 30, 2026: In observance of the César Chávez Day holiday, all Denver Recreation Centers will be closed 3/30/2026.

Denver Recreation Centers are closed on city-observed holidays. Outdoor pools close during inclement weather when lightning is nearby or temperatures are forecasted to remain below 65 degrees. Emergency closures for unexpected maintenance, power outages, etc. may not be posted online unless they are expected to last for a significant portion of the day. When possible, such service interruptions will be posted here. To verify center schedules and hours of operation, please call the facility directly.
