Rude Recreation Center

Rude is a Regional Level recreation center located at Federal Boulevard and Decatur Street and offers a free meal program for youth, along with free membership for youth and adults age 60+ through the MY Denver Card and My Denver Prime programs. View photos of the center.

Closure Information

July 3-4, 2026: All Denver Recreation Centers and Pools will be closed, and programs canceled on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Denver Recreation Centers are closed on city-observed holidays. Outdoor pools close during inclement weather when lightning is nearby or temperatures are forecasted to remain below 65 degrees. Emergency closures for unexpected maintenance, power outages, etc. may not be posted online unless they are expected to last for a significant portion of the day. When possible, such service interruptions will be posted here. To verify center schedules and hours of operation, please call the facility directly.
