CLOSED | Tuesday, Nov. 11: All Denver Recreation Centers closed in observance of Veterans Day
Denver Recreation Centers are closed on city-observed holidays. Outdoor pools close during inclement weather when lightning is nearby or temperatures are forecasted to remain below 65 degrees. Emergency closures for unexpected maintenance, power outages, etc. may not be posted online unless they are expected to last for a significant portion of the day or longer. To verify center schedules and hours of operation, please call the facility directly.
NOTICE 11.3.25-11.24.25 | Washington Park Recreation Center's gymnasium will be closed from Nov. 3-24 for installation of new backboards and gym floor work.
Washington Park is a Regional Level recreation center located in the southeast area near Downing St and Exposition Ave, just south of Smith Lake. This facility features weight and cardio equipment, a stretching area near the indoor pool, a gym, and a multi-purpose room available for rent. Group Fitness classes such as HIIT, Vinyasa Yoga, and Total Body Conditioning are offered at this center (view the activity center sheet below).
Washington Park Recreation Center also offers free membership for youth through the MY Denver Card program.
