Washington Park is a Regional Level recreation center located in south Denver near Downing Street and Exposition Avenue. POOL CLOSURE: Washington Park Recreation Center pool will be closed until February 2026 for roof repairs and resurfacing. Swim lessons and aquatics programs will not be offered at this location during the closure. Find aquatics programming at other recreation centers.

Denver Recreation Centers are closed on city-observed holidays. Outdoor pools close during inclement weather when lightning is nearby or temperatures are forecasted to remain below 65 degrees. Emergency closures for unexpected maintenance, power outages, etc. may not be posted online unless they are expected to last for a significant portion of the day. When possible, such service interruptions will be posted here. To verify center schedules and hours of operation, please call the facility directly.
