Please note that the media relations office is staffed from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on City holidays. An on-call Public Information Officer is available after-hours to provide information about in-progress incidents only. Requests for records received after-hours will be processed on the next business day.

Open Records Requests

To pay for the cost of processing a Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) request, the agency custodian may charge for the time spent to research and respond to records requests under CORA. Following the Colorado Revised Statutes C.R.S. §24-72-205(6), agency custodians may charge $41.37 per hour for researching, retrieving and reviewing records. There is no charge for the first hour of research, retrieval and review of records.
