PURPOSE: To garner public comment, input, and answer questions regarding the amended rules.
SUBJECT: Rules and regulations pertaining to permitting film and video production activities that occur on public property in the City and County of Denver.
The purpose of rules and regulations pertaining to permitting film and video productions that occur on public property is to set forth permit procedures and requirements for parties seeking to host and produce film and video production on public property within the City and County of Denver. The authority under which the rules are proposed is Section 2-437(c) of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (“D.R.M.C.”), as amended, which states that the Office of Special Events shall adopt rules and regulations governing the administration and enforcement of Article XXI, Chapter 2, D.R.M.C.
Written comments on the proposed amended rules may be submitted to Rose Watts of the Office of Special and sent via email to rose.watts@denvergov.org. Written comments must be received no later than 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
Anyone who wishes to present oral or written comments at the public rule-making hearing must give notice in writing addressed to Rose Watts, Deputy Director of the Office of Special Events, and sent via email to rose.watts@denvergov.org. Notices must be received no later than 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
