Overdose Prevention

The DDPHE Community & Behavioral Health division is home to the Overdose Education and Naloxone Distribution Program, which aims to improve treatment access and retention, and reduce harm associated with drug use.

We aim to support organizations and individuals in effectively preventing and responding to overdose, fostering a healthier and safer Denver for all. We envision a community where every individual has the knowledge, resources, and support needed to prevent and respond to overdose, resulting in a decrease in disparities and harm.
