OME Case #2023–02063 

On May 21, 2023, at 12:33 a.m., the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner responded to a death in the 800 block of Cherry Street. Mr. John Martinez, DOB 11/30/1976, was pronounced deceased. An autopsy was completed on Mr. Martinez. The cause of death is from a gunshot wound. The manner of death is homicide.    

OME Case #2023–01943  

On May 11, 2023, at 12:21 a.m., the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner was notified of a death at UC   

Health University of Colorado. Mr. Rodney Jackson Jr., DOB 12/08/2000, was transported by ambulance from the 9600 block of E. Girard Avenue. An autopsy was completed on Mr. Jackson Jr. The cause of death is from a gunshot wound. The manner of death is homicide.
