Denver expanded solid waste services in 2023 with a new fee based on trash cart size. Weekly recycling is here and compost service is rolling out citywide in phases. Rebates are available based on income and household size.
If you need help paying your bill, financial assistance is available! Denver is one of only a few cities in the United States to provide a discount on waste services for low-income households. Residents are eligible for 50-100% off their bill based on household income and the number of people in the home.
