Denver Utilities Online

Denver is expanding solid waste services in 2023 with a new fee based on trash cart size. Weekly recycling and invoicing will begin in January and compost service will be rolled out throughout 2023. Rebates are available based on income and household size.

Use Denver Utilities Online to manage your account information for solid waste services. 

  • Pay online
  • Manage your carts: request cart size changes and repairs
  • Sign up for paperless billing and autopay
  • Submit billing questions online once you receive an invoice
  • Make service requests and see your request history

Access Your Account

Some users may have received an invoice notification in error during recent testing. Your balance is $0 and this notification can be disregarded. 

Step 1.Set up your account

Required information:

  • Parcel ID
  • Account number
  • An email address

Parcel ID and account number are provided in a letter and in your invoice.

Step 2.Sign Up Now

  • If this is your first visit, click the Sign Up Now link. Enter your email address to receive a verification code.
  • After verifying your email, click Continue to enter your name and select a password, then click Create.

Step 3.Log In

  • Enter your email address and password to sign in.
  • When creating an account, add your mailing address, parcel ID and account number.

Account Information

You must have your parcel ID and account number to create an account or log in to Denver Utilities Online. This information will be sent in a letter approximately 30 days before your first invoice, and will also be on your invoice. Please wait to create an account until you have this information.

You must create an account to sign up for paperless billing or pay online. You will also be able to submit cart size requests, report missed collections and view your past requests.

Do not submit multiple requests for the same issue.

Billing Questions?

Submit questions about your invoice, billing amount or payments through your Denver Utilities Online account. 
After you log in, select Submit a Billing Question from the I Want to… menu on the left.

 

New Billing System

We've stopped taking compost payments as of November 7 as we transition to our new billing system.

If you have not yet paid your Q4 compost invoice there is no need to pay until you receive your next bill, which will be based on the size of your trash cart instead.
