What Tech Services Does

Denver Technology Services (TS) is the City and County of Denver's central information technology department. TS provides technology infrastructure, development, support and solutions to all city departments and operations.

Offices & Divisions

Office of the Chief Information Officer — strategy, policy, direction, and management

Infrastructure and Operations — engineering and maintenance of infrastructure, data storage, and networks; voice system and end-user device support; Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) support to Denver 911 and communication and voice radio systems management for first responders and other city agencies

Digital Experience — oversees 311 non-emergency call center; Denvergov.org website; supports marketing and digital communications technology for communication with residents; public, educational, and government television operations including Denver 8 TV and Denver Community media and the administration of the City’s cable franchise agreements

Applications — software solutions to increase efficiency, automate processes and improve customer service; procurement, development, implementation, integration, quality assurance/testing, maintenance, and support for more than 300 applications, underlying systems and databases

Program Management Office — project support; policies, procedures, financial tracking, and standardized methodologies for the efficient and successful delivery of approved technology projects

Data Tools and Governance — responsible for all city data and information assets, cybersecurity and governance needed to respond to cyber threats and vulnerabilities
