Notice of Public Hearing: Restrictions on Single-Use Accessories

All interested parties are hereby given notice that the City and County of Denver Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency, through the authority set forth in DRMC § 2-410, will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed:

Rules and Regulations Governing Restrictions on Single-Use Accessories 

The hearing will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 201 W. Colfax, Denver CO 80202 in the 4th Floor Conference Room number 4G4. The proposed Rules and Regulations can be viewed here:

The proposed Rules and Regulations can also be viewed in person at the Clerk and Recorder’s Office located in the Wellington Webb Building (201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202). 

Submit comments in writing to sustainability@denvergov.org by Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Comments can also be mailed to Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency at 201 W. Colfax, Department 704, Denver, CO 80202. Comments must be received no later than Close of Business (5:00 PM) on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

In May 2021, Denver City Council unanimously approved COUNCIL BILL NO. 21-0496, which requires Denver businesses to provide single-use accessories only upon request.
