Expanding Housing Affordability Advisory Committee Meeting

This meeting will be a virtual webinar via Zoom. It is open for members of the public to observe and includes a public comment period. Attendees must register in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Comments and Feedback to Date on Mandatory Program with Incentives (60 minutes)

  • Staff to provide a high-level overview draft proposal and summary of key comment themes
  • Committee members to summarize feedback from outreach they have participated in (e.g., industry groups, community orginizations, focus groups, etc.)
    • What different perspectives and feedback did you hear?
    • What did these groups think the draft policy did well?
    • What did these stakeholders want to see changed?
  • CBI to summarize the comments received and identify areas for focused discussion on solutions
  • Discussion
    • Where does the draft proposal strike a balance of the feedback that you heard?
    • What are some specific recommendations on how to bridge the gap and have a policy we can live with?
  • CBI to summarize the discussion and highlight clear recommendations
