Help make the season brighter for your neighbors in need.
November is finally here, and that means our annual #BeAGiver Holiday Gift Drive is officially going on now!
Formerly known as our Adopt-a-Family, Teen, or Senior Holiday Gift Drive, this annual event ensures gifts find their way to children, families, older adults, and adults with disabilities in need, who’s financial or family situations often increase stress and isolation during the holidays. With your help, we can ensure that our city's most vulnerable residents have a supported, connected, and joyful holiday.
Community connections are vital to creating a better future for every Denver resident.
Ways to Help
Donate general holiday gifts for all ages
Every gift, no matter how small, matters and makes a difference. General gift donations support children, families, older adults, and adults with disabilities who were not matched with specific givers but are still receiving DHS services. They are your neighbors working toward stable housing and food security, they are veterans, and they are children and families working with our child welfare teams.
Choose from items on our Amazon wish list, or take a look at our general wish list and have your donation sent using any shipping service to our address below:
Denver Human Services
Attn: Bryn Daly CORE
1200 Federal Blvd.
Denver, CO 80204
Make a monetary donation and let us do the shopping for you!
Please send your donation by check to the address above, made out to the DHS Manager of Finance, and with #BeAGiver Holiday Gift Drive in the memo line.
Every monetary donation will go toward purchasing gifts for children, families, teens, older adults, and adults with disabilities who are not matched during the drive.
Registration to sponsor a family, a teen/child, or an older adult or adult with a disability has closed.
Please consider contributing to the #BeAGiver Holiday Gift Drive through the other ways listed above.
