Denver – Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure would like people to be aware that the 16th Street Pedestrian and Bike Bridge between the Lower Highlands neighborhood and Lower Downtown Denver will be closed next week for maintenance.
The bridge will close Monday, July 26, at 8:00 a.m. and reopen for use Friday, July 30, at 5:00 p.m.
Detour signs will be in place to guide people to the 15th Street bridge from either Platte Street or Central Street (see map). The public’s patience is appreciated as city crews work to maintain the bridge and keep this important connection over I-25 in a state of good repair.
