Global Landing Pad

The Denver Global Landing Pad is a business acceleration program providing a virtual introductory tool kit on doing business in Denver. We aim to create ideal conditions for foreign small businesses to validate their fit in the US market and explore opportunities in Denver.

The program offers:

  • Collective workshops with experts on the legal requirements for the creation of a company in Denver, how to hire talent, and to open a bank account
  • Access to resident experts within the Denver entrepreneurial ecosystem
  • A group experience during Denver Startup Week
  • Dedicated support from Denver Economic Development & Opportunity

Global Landing Pad - Aug.-Oct. 2021

Denver invites executives of scaling companies from around the world to join our September 2021 Global Landing Pad (GLP) program to support their expansion plans into North America via Denver, Colorado. This seven-week virtual program offers the education, introductions, and networking needed to successfully scale your operations in the U.S. market.

Global Landing Pad programs are typically hosted between August and September, and have recently been hosted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

What to Expect

  • Conversations with government officials, business executives, mentors, advisors, and other founders
  • Local expertise on visas, finance, accounting, legal, and workforce provided by the World Trade Center Denver
  • 1-Hour advisory session to mentor network with the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network Colorado
  • Professional leadership development sessions with Colorado Thought Leaders Forum (with optional weekly cohort sessions)
  • Pitch discussion with Rockies Venture Club
  • Virtual sessions are 3 hours and occur for seven weeks
  • A US $500 participation fee payable upon acceptance (waived for qualifying companies)
