Published on December 10, 2020
Nearly 50 people joined the Dec. 9th Virtual Town Hall to hear about the Office of Special Events' (OSE) proposal to be added to the City and County of Denver's municipal code. This move will establish OSE as a permanent city agency and allow OSE to issue a Special Event Permit.
The Town Hall opened with a welcome from OSE Executive Director, Katy Strascina who provided some important context to the timing and intention of OSE's proposal. OSE Operations Director, Rose Watts followed with a comprehensive presentation about the benefits of OSE becoming a permanent city agency and the benefits that come with a Special Event Permit. A Q&A session with Town Hall attendees concluded the session.
