November 2021 Coordinated Election

Ballots begin mailing October 8
Last day to vote: Tuesday, November 2 by 7 p.m.

The November 2021 Coordinated Election will have voters decide on a variety of ballot questions and candidates for office. A number of citizen-initiated ordinances and council-referred measures will appear on the ballot, along with both district-specific and at-large Denver Board of Education candidates. The coordinated election is non-partisan.

Your participation in local elections matters. Be sure to register to vote or update your registration information so you receive your mail ballot packet.


How to Vote

Step 1.Check your registration 

Are you registered to vote? Is your name and address information current? Double-check your registration at GoVoteColorado.gov.
The last day to register to receive a ballot by mail is October 25, 2021.

Step 2.Track your ballot

Sign up for BallotTRACE to receive email or text notifications about your ballot, including when it’s on its way to you and when it has been received and accepted for counting.

Step 3.Research your ballot

Make informed decisions as a voter. Read up on ballot measures and get links to candidate websites using our interactive sample ballot.

Denver School District 4 candidate Andrea Mosby has withdrawn. Any votes cast for Mosby will not be counted or reported.

Notice of Financial Information for the City and County of Denver
October 13, 2021

On November 2, 2021, Denver voters will be asked to decide whether the City shall be authorized to issue up to $450,030,000 of General Obligation Bonds for capital repairs and improvements (Referred Questions 2A-2E). 

This notice is being provided by the City to comply with Section 1-7-908, Colorado Revised Statutes, which requires that the City provide certain financial information about the City on its website because these ballot questions concern the creation of debt.

Step 4.Make a plan to vote

You have options:

At home 

If your registration is current, you'll automatically receive a ballot in the mail beginning October 8. Send your ballot back by mail or return it to one of our 24-hour ballot drop-off boxes located throughout the city. If you need a new ballot, use our curbside ballot pick-up service or visit a vote center for a replacement. Accessible ballots are available upon request.

Ballots must be received by the Denver Elections Division by 7 p.m. on November 2, 2021 (Election Day). If you choose to return your ballot by mail, send it back no later than October 25 (8 days before the last day to vote).

In person

Vote centers are located throughout Denver for those who wish to cast their ballot in person. Vote centers will open beginning October 18. Make a plan to vote early to avoid a wait. Voters must be in line to vote by 7 p.m. on November 2, 2021.
