City and County of Denver COVID-19 Status Update

The City and County of Denver today provided the following COVID-19 status update:

Delta Variant in Denver

Currently, the City and County of Denver is aware of 24 confirmed cases of the Delta variant. City public health experts continue to monitor and update the public on all cases, including variants, to protect and provide the safest community for Denver residents and visitors. People who are fully vaccinated are highly protected against COVID-19 including the variants. While Denver vaccination rates are high, we continue to encourage all Coloradans to get vaccinated. Vaccinations are free and readily available to anyone, with or without insurance.

Boys & Girls Club Vaccination Events

The City and County of Denver is partnering with the Boys & Girls Clubs to offer free vaccines. The following locations are offering walk-in vaccine opportunities:

  • Owen Boys & Girls Club - 3480 W. Kentucky Ave.
    • Wednesday, July 21, 3-6 pm
  • Broncos Boys & Girls Club - 4397 Crown Boulevard
    • Thursday, July 22, 3-6 pm
  • Johnson Boys & Girls Club - 3325 West 16th Dr.
    • Thursday, July 29, 3-6 pm 

Montbello Barber Shop LLC Vaccination Event

  • Thursday, July 29, 3-7pm
  • 4848 Chambers Rd.
  • First or second dose of Pfizer; J&J offered
  • No appointment necessary, open to the public

Colorado Health Network Vaccination Event

  • Friday, July 30, 11am-2pm
  • 6260 E Colfax Ave.
  • First or second dose of Moderna; J&J will also be offered
  • No appointment necessary, open to the public
