Elevate Denver

Denver voters spoke, and the City is putting your vote into action – delivering projects designed to strengthen the fabric of our city. As Denver continues to grow, Elevate Denver is about preserving and enhancing the Mile High City so it can remain the vibrant city we know and love. Executing more than 460 projects over 10 years, this $937 million program will:

Revitalize and modernize our streets and highways
Increase pedestrian safety and accessibility throughout Denver
Revitalize our parks, playgrounds and recreation centers
Improve our libraries, cultural centers, safety facilities and the Denver Health Medical Center

Denver Receives $13.9M Grant to Transform Stretch of Washington Street

The City and County of Denver is excited to announce it has secured $13.9M in federal funding to turn a worn stretch of North Washington Street into a community asset for the Globeville neighborhood. The project, which has also received $23M in Elevate Denver Bond funds, will modernize Washington Street from 47th to 52nd Avenues, completing areas on both sides of the street for walking and biking,

New Bond-Funded Playground Opens at City Park

New Protected Bike Lanes Connect Sun Valley Neighborhood to Downtown

Today, Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is joining with community members on the City’s west side to celebrate new protected bike lanes that create a circulator route from the Sun Valley neighborhood to Downtown Denver and back.
