Community Meetings

The Denver Mayor’s Office, in partnership with Denver City Council and the Department of Finance, met with community members in each council district to discuss the 2025 Vibrant Denver Bond. Nearly 1,000 community members joined these community conversations. The city also received over 6,200 survey responses.

Subcommittees & Executive Committee

Bond project ideas were submitted by communities, city agencies based on the 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Plan, and organizations across Denver. These ideas were reviewed and evaluated by community-led subcommittees. Subcommittees placed these projects in recommended tiers, which were then referred to an executive committee for final evaluation before the full bond package was presented to the Mayor, then sent to Denver City Council for possible inclusion on the November ballot.

Orientation for all subcommittees was held on April 10, 2025. Orientation covered process, criteria, and timeline, among other topics.

Project Lists

Subcommittees reviewed and evaluated projects and made recommendations to the Executive Committee in a tiered project list. The Executive Committee then completed its list of project recommendations for the Mayor's consideration. Both of these lists can be found below.

Ambassadors

The Vibrant Denver Bond process also included community ambassadors who shared the perspectives of their organizations and communities with the city. Ambassadors were able to provide group feedback through an online submission form.

Ambassadors were provided the following toolkit, upon request:

  • Printable overview of Denver's bond programs
  • Printable surveys (English and Spanish)
    • These could be printed and distributed as an alternative to the online survey. Printed surveys could also be found at and returned to drop boxes at any city recreation center or library.
  • Planning and facilitation guide
  • Sample discussion questions
  • Instructions for how to share feedback and ideas with the city
