By applying Vision Zero’s core principles, we can save lives and prevent severe injuries on our streets while enhancing the quality of life for all Denver residents.
2023 Annual Report Denver continues to prioritize data-driven safety projects that improve the built environment for all modes of travel. In 2023, the Vision Zero program implemented more than 140 projects throughout the city with a particular focus on equitable access to safe modes of transportation.
Safe Routes to School SRTS is an international movement that promotes the safe, convenient, and fun opportunity for children of all ages and abilities to walk, bike or roll to school. In 2021, our Safe Routes to School team created Denver’s first, comprehensive, five-year Action Plan for the Safe Routes to School Program.

Vision Zero Network The Vision Zero Network is a national collaborative campaign that shares best practices from other cities and helps ensure that Denver’s Vision Zero staff are in close coordination with their safety-focused peers in other parts of the country.
