Public Meetings

The COB holds regular meetings on the first and third Fridays of each month with the exception of Fridays which are on holiday weekends. The meetings are currently held virtually, details can be found on the main page of our website. Potential attendees should email cob@denvergov.org in advance of attending to confirm there is no change in schedule or location.

By ordinance, the COB must also hold at least three public forums each year. The purpose of these forums is to allow the public an opportunity to address issues of concern in their communities. The COB takes this information into account when formulating policy recommendations with the intent of improving the services provided by the safety departments.  Denver Channel 8 has made it easier to catch a missed meeting by archiving all COB public forums online:
