CASR Currently Hiring for Two Manager Positions

We are growing our team at the Office of Climate Action, Sustainability & Resiliency (CASR)! CASR works to enable a sustainable, resilient, climate-safe future for all of Denver in collaboration with fellow departments, other units of government, and community partners. We lead the development of innovative programs, policy, and community-based services. CASR ensures that our goals are aligned with current climate science, promotes the role that climate action and sustainability play in strengthening Denver's economic vitality and a prosperous future for all, and embraces equity as a value and practice in all its work. CASR is responsible for managing the Climate Protection Fund, which will disburse approximately $35M annually for climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience initiatives. Learn more at

CASR has an opening for a Manager of Finance and Administration. This is a new position responsible for leading the development of the functions and staffing for the new Division of Administration being formed within CASR. The Manager of Finance and Administration will lead and oversee all administrative, financial, and operational functions for CASR.

CASR has an opening for a Manager of Communications and Engagement. This is a new position responsible for leading the development of the new Communications and Engagement Division being formed within CASR. This position will also serve as the Public Information Officer for CASR and will oversee all marketing, public relations, public information, community engagement, and communications functions for the office. We are seeking candidates who can help us create engaging storytelling strategies that bring the office’s vision, mission and impact to life. Through our branding, messaging, creative content and media engagement, we aim to inspire key partners to join us in building powerful solutions to our most pressing sustainability issues. We seek to build on current community engagement efforts in order to create even deeper, more authentic ways of empowering our community. This will require a strong focus on equity, including engaging with and meeting the needs of people of color and under-resourced communities.
