More than we can count! We work with employers in a variety of different industries, including food service, maintenance, transportation, health care, and construction. New employers attend our job fairs every month. If you’re interested in a specific field or industry, our teams can help you locate opportunities.

No, we have programs and services to help anyone in need of a job find work or additional training/education. The Westside Workforce Center is open to all Denver residents and provides one-on-one coaching, resume support, interview tips, help finishing your GED, and more. The Westside Workforce Center is located at the Richard T. Castro Human Services Center at 1200 Federal Boulevard.

The Employment First program is specifically for people who receive food assistance through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). If you receive SNAP benefits, you will be assigned an Employment First caseworker to help you find the tools and supports to reach your goals, including work experience support, job search tips, help with your resume, interview practice, help completing your GED, and monthly job search support activities. Please note: Employment First caseworkers are only located at the Richard T. Castro Human Services Center. 

Yes. Both our Employment First team (for people receiving food assistance) and the Westside Workforce Center staff can assist you with completing your GED or getting your high school diploma.

Yes. Both our Employment First team (for people receiving food assistance) and the Westside Workforce Center staff can assist you with identifying your skills and interests, putting together a resume, identifying jobs that you’re interested in, and polishing your interviewing skills. To work with Employment First, you must be receiving food assistance from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Yes, the Westside Workforce Center has a computer lab that is free for you to use when searching for a job. The lab includes copiers, phones, and a fax machine.
