Overflow Emergency Shelter Opens for Persons Experiencing Homelessness

\With the arrival of frigid temperatures, the City and County of Denver and shelter partners are expanding overflow emergency shelter for persons experiencing homelessness.
Men and transgender individuals can access additional overflow at the Lawrence Street Community Center, 2222 Lawrence St., where buses will depart after 7:30 p.m. for overflow shelter expansion at La Alma Recreation Center. The overflow shelter will operate nightly from Friday through Tuesday morning, with transportation provided from the Lawrence Street Community Center each evening with a return each morning for meals.
Women and transgender individuals can access emergency shelter at 1370 Elati St. Access will be provided from this site to additional overflow shelter as needed.
