Denver City Government Buildings To Operate on Modified Schedule

Modified Schedule for Week of January 18th
Due to several anticipated demonstrations that could occur at the Colorado State Capitol from January 15 – January 20, 2021, Denver city government buildings will be open on modified operations schedules as a precautionary measure for the safety of city employees and the general public. While city facilities will be closed during certain times, city service delivery will continue and has not been suspended.
Street parking surrounding the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Building will be restricted. Members of the public entering city facilities during the week should expect additional security measures to be in place including fencing, screenings and adjusted hours at some city facilities.
The following facilities will be closed to the general public on Wednesday, Jan. 20 and Thursday, Jan. 21: the City and County Building, Webb Municipal Building, McNichols Building, Elections Division, Minoru Yasui Plaza, Police Administration Building, Downtown Detention Center and the Lindsey-Flanigan Courthouse. These facilities will operate on a modified schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 19 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 22 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
All other city facilities, with the exception of Denver International Airport, will operate on a modified schedule of 8 a.m.-2 p.m. from Tuesday, Jan. 19-Friday, Jan. 22.
Residents with business before the Denver County Court or Denver District Court during the week of Jan. 18 should contact those organizations for their operations schedules.
Several city services remain on modified operations schedules independent of these modifications due to COVID-19. For a listing of cancellations, closures and postponements, please visit denvergov.org/COVID19. Residents and those doing business will the city can access city services online at denvergov.org/onlineservices outside these modified hours of operation for the week. Most city employees will be working remotely and will remain available to address resident needs during normal business hours.
