What is Changing Effective January 1st Important transition note: A contribution is “made” when the candidate receives the actual payment. Example, if a Mayoral candidate receives a check for $2,000 on January 2nd, but the check is dated 12/30/2020, the new $1,000 limit applies and the candidate must return the excess $1,000 to the contributor within 72 hours of receipt.
Welcome to Denver's online campaign finance reporting system. Candidates and organizations seeking to participate in an election in the City and County of Denver must be registered with the Clerk and Recorder's Office and must file campaign finance forms and reports by required deadlines. Campaign finance forms and reports must be filed online through the Denver Campaign Finance Online Reporting System. Campaign finance reporting in Denver is governed by Article 3, Section 15 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code.
